Itinerary
Day 1:
Start your trip in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Spend the day exploring the Old City (Icheri Sheher), a historic district that is home to many landmarks, including the Shirvanshah Palace, the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, and the Maiden Tower.
In the afternoon, visit the Heydar Aliyev Center, a museum and exhibition space housed in a striking modern building.
In the evening, enjoy the views from the Flame Towers, three skyscrapers that are illuminated at night with LED lights that create the illusion of flames.
Day 2:
Take a day trip to the Absheron Peninsula, which is home to several interesting attractions, including the Ateshgah, a castle-like temple that was once used by Zoroastrian priests, and Yanar Dag, a natural gas fire that has been burning continuously for over 50 years.
In the afternoon, visit the Gobustan National Park, which is home to a collection of ancient rock carvings and petroglyphs.
In the evening, return to Baku and spend the night in the city.
Day 3:
Spend the day exploring Baku, including a visit to the Baku Zoo, home to a wide variety of animals, and a ride on the Baku Ferris Wheel, which offers stunning views of the city.
In the evening, catch a concert or other event at the Baku Crystal Hall, an indoor arena located near the Baku Boulevard.
Day 4:
Take a trip to the Baku Water Park, located on the outskirts of the city, to cool off on a hot day.
In the afternoon, take the Baku Funicular, a cable car that takes passengers up to the Upland Park, which offers panoramic views of the city.
Spend the evening at the Azerbaijan State Museum of Art, which houses a collection of Azerbaijanās finest art, including works by famous Azerbaijani artists.
Day 5:
Spend the morning visiting the Carpet Museum, which showcases a collection of Azerbaijanās finest carpets and other textiles.
In the afternoon, take a drive to the Qobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is home to a collection of ancient rock carvings and petroglyphs.
In the evening, return to Baku and spend the night in the city.
Day 6:
Take a day trip to the city of Gabala, which is home to a number of interesting attractions, including the Nohur Lake, the Tufandag Winter-Summer Tourist Complex, and the Gabala Archaeological Museum.
In the afternoon, visit the Yeddi Gozel Waterfall, a beautiful natural attraction located in the region.
In the evening, return to Baku and spend the night in the city.
